Industry-Focused Curriculum
Needs analysis, instructional design, delivery and evaluation, in the order an L&D team works through them.
HR professional, trainer, or the subject expert everyone asks to teach—learn to find the real gap, design for it, and show that the training worked.
Most training is booked, delivered and forgotten, and nobody can say what it changed. This programme is about the method that makes the difference, and the evidence that proves it.
HR professionals, trainers and subject experts who are asked to build training and want a method for it.
Companies spend heavily on training and rarely know whether it worked. Being able to show that is the skill.
IT services, banking, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, consultancies and in-house corporate L&D teams.
L&D Executive, Training Coordinator, Instructional Designer, LMS Administrator and L&D Business Partner.

Delivering a session and designing a programme are different jobs. This one is about the design, the delivery and the evidence, so you finish with a programme you built rather than a slide deck.
Needs analysis, instructional design, delivery and evaluation, in the order an L&D team works through them.
Live sessions with recorded support, so you can keep learning alongside a job.
Build a needs analysis, a storyboard, a module and an evaluation plan, not just notes about them.
Finish with a verifiable record of the programme and the training design work you produced.
Practitioners who design corporate training review your work and show you where a learner would drop off.
Build an L&D portfolio, learn to present a training case to a budget holder, and prepare for interviews.
Each module takes one step of the design cycle and ends with a piece of the programme, so by the last week you have built a whole one rather than studied how.

What L&D is accountable for, who it answers to and how it is funded. The difference between training that was requested and training that was needed.
Deliverable: A one-page L&D charter for a sample company: remit, stakeholders, budget lines and what sits outside it.
Finding out what is actually missing before anything is designed. Interviews, data and observation, and how to separate a skill gap from a process problem.
Deliverable: A completed training needs analysis for one team, with the evidence behind each gap and a ranked recommendation.
Turning a gap into a design. Objectives that can be measured, a structure adults will stay with, and a storyboard someone else could build from.
Deliverable: A full storyboard for one module: objectives, structure, activities, assessments and facilitator notes.
Making the thing. Slides, e-learning, job aids and video, and the difference between content that looks finished and content that teaches.
Deliverable: A built and reviewed module, with its assessment, workbook and a job aid learners keep afterwards.
Getting it in front of people. Running a room or a call so learners stay in it, and running the platform that tracks who completed what.
Deliverable: A delivered session, recorded and reviewed, published on an LMS with enrolment and tracking configured.
Proving it worked. The four levels of evaluation, what each one can honestly claim, and how to present that to whoever paid for it.
Deliverable: An evaluation plan and results dashboard for the module you built, plus a reviewed portfolio and interview plan.

A certificate should stand for work, not attendance. Finish and get a verifiable record of the programme alongside the needs analysis, storyboard, module and evaluation plan you produced.
